On a Chronic Condition

Percy is spinning his web of words again. I really feel like I'm overthinking things and I should just let them be. We're set to go to Durban for a week and he just won't let me rest.

One exam left on Tuesday, internships lined up and no plans for New Years as yet. It is truly an exciting time...

It's difficult, I know... overthinking thigs seems to come so easily. Just relax, and have some confidence in yourself...

When're you headed to Durban? How exciting. That should be fun.

Things have been going well. I'm just being paranoid.

Still have another year. It's a compulsory honours year. Are you still studying next year Cadi? I think you should relax about the "best work before thirty" thing. Frank Lloyd Wright was 67 when Falling Water was completed.

I know Mike! Just finding it difficult to be myself sometimes. Leaving for Durbs on Friday. Are you going to be home?

hey d.

i'm not really on the best work before thirty-thing, i just want to make films and have children at the same time which means that for the years before i have to change diapers while mapping out the perimeter of a panning shot i should try and get as much as possible done. so that i can ride a bit on what i've read, seen, written etc. well, that's the theory.

so it looks like i'll be at tuks next year, and will be taking a few classes in your building.

Well, we've not established that you are not going to Durban afterall! Just because the Wild Coast has the word 'coast' in it, does not mean it's 'near Durban'. Hahaha, silly Vaalies. :)

But if you are near Durban, I'm there only from the 26th to the 28th November.

Makes sense Cadi. Are you taking classes in the visual arts building? So have you taken VKK?

Mike, the owners of the place keep saying that we're going to Durban. Guess it's because we use the same highway. We'll arrive on the 24th and stay until at least the 30th. Email me your number.
