Work slowing down in one area opens up time for work in another area. I have been thinking about my responsibilities towards this cul-de-sac during my absence. I followed a link to the South African blog awards and, naturally, went sniffing around the best designed category. Jo'Blog seems like a sure bet.

News on the Politik front is mild and diluted at best. Although after watching it last night with Jess, I am still thinking about Super-Size Me. The image of those McD's chips lasting five weeks in a bell-jar, without so much as a spot of mould forming was a highlight for me.

Steve, Ev and myself had a pretty mean onset of nostalgia this past Saturday. It seems Fabs was feeling the same since he's spearheaded the Boy's night this coming Saturday. It was actually very enjoyable to make a good time for ourselves before we had the means to leave a party.

I am toying with the idea of making a home entertainment cabinet based on Gerrit Rietveld's De Stijl sideboard design. The Nouveau style we're learning about is also growing on me at this stage.
