Enough Smalltalk
It is quite a way to kick off my first blog but it just reinforces the notion that people generally post when they're down. This is a natural response and an effective way to vent and purge oneself.
I've recently been overcome by a wave of disillusionment with the world. I have just watched 'Old School' and it made clear to me that time's relentless progression just gets me down. I'm sure that yesterday's viewing of 'Fahrenheit 9/11' is a factor, as was the final episode of friends that showed earlier tonight.
I'm currently reading Chuck Palahniuk's 'Non-Fiction' and I am just beset by the notion that: I'm never going to achieve all that I want to; learn all that I thirst to; see all that I'm interested in. It truly kills me - figuratively - that eventually everything I do will accomplish nothing, given enough time. Perhaps I am just a little burnt out.
Still, it is very reassuring that a 45-minute search for 'necrophilia' on Ka-Zaa turned up nothing.
