I needed to find details on how to get to C3 Apple Store in Cresta. I had collected all the contributions from my friends and was making plans to buy the iPod for Steve. I was browsing through the VeZa CD-ROM and I saw a suburb name that upset me more than a little.
With all this controversy surrounding the renaming of Pretoria, I doubt this inappropriate name even raised an eyebrow. I know that the Pretoria council has no interest in anything concerning Jo'burg's juristiction, but it is far more offensive to have an area named after a former American president. The name Pretoria has acres more credibility and relevance with regards to South African history that Franklin Roseveltd park does - no matter if he was one of the few admirable Americans in public office.
Moving along swiftly...
...I was shocked by the size of the Shuffle when I first saw it. For some reason I expected it to be a whole lot larger. Imagine the wonder upon seeing the petite darling as it whispered to me. It said, 'Take me now'. I couldn't wait to open it. Since it was a gift, I justified this by loading mp3's onto the pretty little thing. I can't bear parting with it tomorrow.
Such a bitter pill to swallow...

Sigh. I know where I was born. A place called Pretoria. That's what it is. But how can we argue when any rationale is shot down as racist, right-wing, conservative propaganda?
Imagine if the Tories win the UK election now; maybe they should rename Trafalgar Square and Waterloo and Blenheim Palace—that way history can be re-written the way that Continental Europeans would prefer it to be heard.
You should rather go to cool apple buddy in Sandton. Nice store. And I can get stuff cheap cheap there :)
I personally think that Waterloo should be renamed Bree. They could set up a Prancing Pony and sing nice Hobbit songs all night - or at least until 01:00.
Thanks Tom, I tried them but their prices were higher. It was a time restrictive situation. Plus now that I'm a member on their website, I get discount vouchers. I do need to speak to you about the dsl thing though.
